If you accidently dropped some liquid over your laptop, it is more than likely that whatever it is, it will travel through the keyboard, and reach the motherboard. The damage can be unpredictable.

What will we do?
As time is a determinant factor, Laptop Repair Laptech solutions engineers will open the laptop as soon as we receive it and start blowing compressed air in it to completely dry all the inner parts. This will stop oxidation to take place. Then we will check for any trace of residue or burnt on the connectors, motherboard tracks and chips. If you dropped milk, or coffee and sugar, or soda, the damage will be more important than ordinary water and longer to clean.
We will delicately clean all visible traces of liquid spillage on stained surfaces with rubbing alcohol and finally dry the computer again, combining compressed air and hot air blowing.
When we are satisfied there are no more traces of liquid spillage, we will put the battery back into the laptop and attempt to start it.
If the laptop starts, we will proceed to a full checkup of hardware functions such as keyboard, mouse pad, sound system, wireless reception, webcam, card readers, USB ports, DVD player functions, battery charging cycle, video output and picture quality.
If it doesn’t start, we will begin to investigate the problem and attempt to repair it.
